《巨人》劇情精彩緊湊，身處經濟開發的黑暗年代，社會弱肉強食，李江慕這位報復者既要面對和親情、友情、愛 情等之間的掙扎和矛盾，又要對擁有權力與金錢的仇家展開一連串的復仇計劃。其中李江慕與大反派趙弼延的大量 對手戲，令人看得緊張刺激，不但成為眾多觀眾的討論熱點，且引發了在韓國的追看狂潮。

1960年的韓國，江南作為最有權利和開發希望最大的地方，所有野心家都渴望著在這未來掌管首爾重心的地方 殺出一片新天地。本來是中央情報局科長的趙弼延（鄭寶錫飾）利用自己的身份在一次抓拿走私金塊的案件時，奪 走財務並用錢收賣好上層官員。但在搶金事件時他和同夥黃泰燮（李德華飾）的所作所為被卡車司機李氏所知，合 力殺掉李氏後黃泰燮發誓忠於趙弼延才得以保住性命，但被殺的李氏卻因此家破人亡。
