Alternative Way of Sharing - Direct Connect (DC++)

Hi,

Ive been chit chattting with some people already regarding an alternative way of sharing files. Maybe you guys have already heard about DC++, which combines the functionalities of Torrent and IRC, and provides the hub (room) owner safety and controll of the members...e.g. no leechers, kick/ban functionality, quantity and quality controll (share/files) and people can chat in there as well.
Access could be granted upon membership on forum....or VIP status...or whatever....

in general, I think it is pretty good...

how do you guys think?
