Bottled Passion

what do we all think of Bottled Passion? i thought every episode was great. it had its climax and a great script although i was a bit disappointed in the ending...it's refreshing to have a not so happy ending as most of the TVB series have happy endings but I just felt it was such a pity that after all the hard work and effort placed in revenge, death was the only way out for Raymond's character...

it's understandable that there are many people in this world who would sacrifice themselves and request strangers to save other people first. but to leave a loved one alone in the world, disregard all the time and effort to avenge and die when they had a chance to head to the hospital, be saved and start a happy chapter with marriage? personally, i don't buy that lol

ahh it was actually a really good drama compared to a couple i saw in the past year. The ending itself like you said was pity because they really did work so ahrd to be together and all that. A couple friends of mine and I were talking about how there might be a sequel but I can't see it.

agree, the ending could have been writtened like he gets rushed to hospital and survived but in coma for another 10 years, and another and we never know if he wakes up.

yeah, this could be a better alternative. or like elaine yui's character could have stabbed raymond a few more times to make death inevitable lol

well... if you were watching the series, then you should know that the "other people" you mentioned is someone he owes a lot to. so although you were right about not leaving your love ones behind, he still has a debt to pay. i guess that's how life is.

Bottled Passion was one of the best dramas I've watched for years! It was a very emotional drama. At the end, Raymond and Niki's relationship made me cry a bit.
